Double LP contains a second disc on cloud-white vinyl with demo versions of the tracks.
The fourth album from American indie-rock band Waxahatchee, formed by Katie Crutchfield, formally of P.S. Eliot. Melodic, easy-paced, distorted guitars and stunning harmonies throughout with a 90's emo-indie rock influence. Following on from 2015's Ivy Tripp. She played in the shop a while back and it was awesome. For fans of Jimmy Eat World, Adventures, Tigers Jaw.
This moment is a perspective we’ve yet to see from Crutchfield: it is a rediscovery of herself, and the realization of a full life she is completely worthy of. “It’s about self-preservation, selfcare, and reclaiming your autonomy,” says Crutchfield. “When you find the things that make you happy, sometimes it’s easier to see things that make you unhappy.”
