This is the 9pm / 18+ show. The Vaccines also play a 6pm / all ages show the same night.

Just before the release of their new album The Vaccines return to New Slang.

The straight up indie-rock 'n' rollers are gearing up to launch their highly anticipated fourth studio album Combat Sports, that follows on from 2015's English Graffiti. The new album has been described as a return to their roots with a brash and bold rock sound and we can't wait to have them play once again in Kingston.

“It sort of builds on the musicality of ‘English Graffiti’, but I think there’s a lot more of spirit and energy from ‘What Did You Expect… We’re in the studio every day playing together, so it feels a lot more like a band again, which maybe ‘English Graffiti’ stopped slightly. I guess it replenishes some of that spirit and that energy of the first record.”

After the show, it's New Slang as usual where you can expect to hear the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen, Foals, The Wombats, Wolf Alice, Two Door Cinema Club and many more until 2AM.

Doors & stage times TBC, but we expect doors to be at 9:00pm with The Vaccines on at 10:30pm.

Albums and tickets will be posted separately; the album's release date is 30th March.

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose Collect In-store as your delivery option your full order, including tickets, will need to be collected from our shop rather than from the venue.

Albums+Tickets are available from £12 or more ticket options are available here.

The Hippodrome is an 18+ venue. Valid PHOTO ID will be required.

New Slang is held at The Hippodrome, 1 St James Road, Kingston, KT1 2AH
