Thursday 10th August at Kingston Marketplace
Just before their New Slang show, The Cribs play a FREE show in the Kingston Marketplace.
With their new album 24-7 Rock-Star Sh*t being released this Friday and a show at New Slang tonight to celebrate, The Cribs are playing a super rare and special, stripped back / acoustic show at Kingston's marketplace that also coincides with the night market. There's DJs playing from 4pm with The Cribs on stage at 7:00pm, then back to DJs to keep you entertained until the New Slang show that you can find out more here.
24-7 Rock Star Shit is the band's seventh studio album and as always we cannot wait. Is there a more relevant, more important, more punk, indie-rock band about? Doubt it. Produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana and Pixies), as if it wasn't already going to be awesome.
The Cribs’ new album started out from offcuts from the sessions around their fifth album ’In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull,’ which came out in 2012. Originally the band intended to release them on an EP, but once things got going, The Cribs they found themselves with their seventh album! ”That approach just really suits us, we were just having too much fun I guess,” they said in a press release.
