The Cribs / New Slang
Thursday 10th August at New Slang, 9:00pm
The day before their highly anticipated new album is released The Cribs play at New Slang.
24-7 Rock Star Shit is the bands seventh studio album and we've been excited for it and the bands return for a while. It's ace indie-rock with a classic, thunderously good feel and this album was produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana and Pixies), don't miss it.
The Cribs’ new album started out from offcuts from the sessions around their fifth album ’In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull,’ which came out in 2012. Originally the band intended to release them on an EP, but once things got going, The Cribs they found themselves with their seventh album! ”That approach just really suits us, we were just having too much fun I guess,” they said in a press release.
