The band is stuck in Norway due to industrial action by their airline. We're hoping to reschedule for later in the year. Refunds available from point of purchase.
The night before their debut album is released Slotface play at New Slang.
The band play a fantastic blend of energetic and addictive indie-punk with great pop sensibilities, big hooks and quality lyrics. This is their first Kingston visit and we're excited to have them down here. If you're into Joyce Manor, Los Campesinos! or Muncie Girls, this is where you need to be.
'Try Not To Freak Out' is nothing short of a massive rock record - one that weds the pop nous of Robyn and Blondie to the exuberant, freewheeling attack of bands like Joyce Manor and Little Big League.
"The band is taking the country by storm with irresistible pop punk hooks and a rumbling post-punk flavored bass line." - The Huffington Post
"Fearless, feminist and so much fun, every song is a revolution in three minutes or less." - NME
After the show, it's New Slang as usual where you can expect to hear the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen, Circa Waves, Courteeners, The Shins and many more until 2AM.
Times TBC, but we expect doors to be at 9:00pm with Slotface on stage at 10:30pm, please check back.
Album+Ticket combos are available from £9 or tickets are available separately here.
Please Note: The Hippodrome is an 18+ venue. Valid PHOTO ID will be required.
New Slang is held at The Hippodrome, 1 St James Road, Kingston, KT1 2AH
