Papa Roach
Crooked Teeth
Banquet exclusive LP is on 'red w/ white splatter' coloured vinyl. /300.A band who not only defined the Nu-Metal scene of the 00s but are now leading the charge in the 2020s' Nu-Metal resurgence, Papa Roach are a band who have not only stood the test of time but have found a way to adeptly turn back time to the days where they first found their glory.Their ninth studio album 'Crooked Teeth' was a flag in the soil of this immortality, marking an exploration between their Nu-Metal roots and the new era of Modern Rock. The album was produced by and co-written with Colin Brittain [Linkin Park, 5 Seconds Of Summer] and Nicholas Furlong [All Time Low, Sabrina Carpenter], and saw collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly and Skylar Grey (who became acclaimed for her work with Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda in 2006), underlining this mash-up of generation-spanning inspirations for the album.'Crooked Teeth' holds a special place in the heart of fans, with fans given the opportunity to support the creation of the album in an astonishing crowdfunding bid that offered unique prizes, such as the opportunity of buying the band's studio (and all of the equipment in it). In a career first for Papa Roach, the album saw two singles, “Help” and “Born For Greatness”, reach #1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, whilst 'Crooked Teeth' itself debuted at #20 on both the Billboard 200 chart and UK Top 40 Album chart. It's since been certified Silver in the UK, with sales fast approaching Gold certification.Pressed on vinyl for the first time since its release in 2017, and for the first time ever in territories outside of the US, 'Crooked Teeth (Deluxe)' will be released via Earache Records on 2 May 2025 on vinyl and CD. This deluxe edition features 3 bonus tracks (“Ricochet”, “Nothing” and “Bleeding Through”), and the 2-disc CD edition will also include a 16-track commemoration of their show at The Fillmore Detroit from their Face Everything And Rise 2015 tour. The set features a blazing encore rendition of their smash hit “Last Resort”, a track that's a member of the 1 Billion Streams club and which recently saw viral revival via a collab with TikTok star Jeris Johnson. The news of the reissue comes just as Papa Roach are due to embark upon their Rise Of The Roach tour, which marks the 25th anniversary of their multi-platinum album 'Infest' and includes a run of arena shows across UK and Europe.

The Horrors
Thursday 20th March
at Pryzm, 8:30pm (14+)
Admission will be via e-ticket. Your e-ticket will be delivered to your email address in time for the show (typically the day before the event). To celebrate the release of the new album Night Life, The Horrors return to Kingston to play at Pryzm.Nearly 20 years since they first began, there are few bands who’ve created a canon as determinedly innovative and consistently critically acclaimed as The Horrors. Emerging as zeitgeist-shaking garage-goths on their 2007 debut ‘Strange House’, before taking a shoegaze-nodding sharp left on their Mercury-nominated follow up ‘Primary Colours’, since the beginning they’ve roamed between genres and atmospheres freely. 2011’s ‘Skying’ won the NME Award for Best Album; ‘V’ was heralded as “a triumph” in a five-star Guardian review, while 2021’s pair of EPs - ‘Lout’ and ‘Against The Blade’ - marked a visceral new chapter with their most industrial, uncompromising output yet.Whilst the end results have changed, however, at their core has always been the same unbending commitment and bloody-minded allegiance to the cause. The Horrors are not and will never be a band that approach the job lightly. They’re musicians who’ll funnel everything they are into the process, at the expense of health, wealth and sometimes sanity. And so, whilst sixth album ‘Night Life’ sees the band once more shapeshift into a new form, with a new sonic outlook and - this time - a new line up, in some ways The Horrors are still as they ever were.-Times TBC but we expect doors at 8:30pm with a stage time of 9:30pmThose aged 14+ can attend unaccompanied. 8 to 13 year olds must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). No under 8s, sorry.Pryzm, 154 Clarence Street, Kingston Upon Thames (KT1 1QP)

The Wombats
Thursday 13th February
at Pryzm, 6:30pm (14+)
ADDITIONAL SHOW ADDED DUE TO HUGE DEMAND.Admission will be via e-ticket. Your e-ticket will be delivered to your email address in time for the show (typically the day before the event). To celebrate the release of the new album Oh! The Ocean, The Wombats return to Kingston to play an intimate set at Pryzm.Since they emerged as leading lights of the late-‘00s indie rock scene with 2007 debut A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, Liverpool’s The Wombats – Matthew “Murph” Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis – have maintained an incredible upward momentum, amassing 2.5B streams along the way. 2011’s electro-flecked second album The Modern Glitch made them Top Ten regulars; 2015’s third Glitterbug saw them embraced by the TikTok generation years later, with “Greek Tragedy” a viral hit several times over. By 2018’s Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life they’d stepped up to arenas around the world, and 2022’s Fix Yourself, Not the World was the band’s first UK #1 album. Their recent Reading 2024 Radio 1 tent headline slot proved they continue at the top of their game, overspilling with crowds of 18-24-year-olds that remain the core audience 2 decades into their career. This set launched the new era of The Wombat’s sixth album Oh! The Ocean, a project that grooves with social anxiety, internal strife, compulsive behaviours and the dilemmas and tribulations of Los Angeles life, where Murph and his family live. From behind the band’s deceptively cuddly façade, Murph has always written openly about his anxiety, depression and addictions (he’s now “sober as hell”), but with this collection there’s a sense of progress towards confronting, accepting and coping with his issues. Alongside familiar sounds they explore new genres from glistening tech rock to sci-fi pop, futuristic fuzz rock to bluesy rock’n’roll, with touches of disco and hip-hop-inflections.-Times TBC but we expect doors at 6:30pm with a stage time of 7:30pmThose aged 14+ can attend unaccompanied. 8 to 13 year olds must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+).
