The Who
WHO
A long awaited new album from The Who, their first record in 13 years. "This album is almost all new songs written last year, with just two exceptions... There is no theme, no concept, no story, just a set of songs that I (and my brother Simon) wrote to give Roger Daltrey some inspiration, challenges and scope for his newly revived singing voice... Roger and I are both old men now, by any measure, so I’ve tried to stay away from romance, but also from nostalgia if I can. I didn’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Memories are okay, and some of the songs refer to the explosive state of things today." - Pete Townshend

Throw Me in the River
UK press is sold out
Frosted clear LP limited to 300; digipak CD with insert.
Like you, we've seen Australia's The Smith Street Band play sweaty punk-rock shows and also tour with some really huge names. It's a sound that's pretty unique to them, and all the pieces already there have come together to make their best album yet. Storytelling, life-affirming, fist in the air folk-punk, we're delighted to give them a UK home, while other great labels across the world (Asian Man, Poison City and Side One Dummy) help them out in other scenes. If you're into bands like The Menzingers, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner, Apologies I Have None or The Weakerthans there's something special for you here.

Derek Sanders
My Rock And Roll Heart
We're the only retailer in the UK to have this 'oxblood/swirl' coloured LP.
The new covers EP from Derek Sanders, the frontman of Kingston visitors Mayday Parade. Taking up a range of classic tracks from the likes of Jimmy Ear World, Saves The Day and more.
Comprised of five stripped-back covers of tracks from Jimmy Eat World, Something Corporate, Saves The Day, The Juliana Theory, and local Tallahassee band Goodbye Love, the acoustic EP acts as a snapshot of songs that inspired Sanders to become a musician.
“When I started getting into music, I got an acoustic guitar when I was ten years old. I spent all of my time with that guitar, just learning to play and writing my first songs. I've been in so many bands since then, and it's cool to go back to playing acoustic and singing the way it all started,” Sanders says of the EP.
