Diggin In The Crates (D.I.T.C.) was born out of a group of artists who began making noise in the late ‘80s and into the next decade and beyond - namely Lord Finesse, Diamond D, and Fat Joe. After well-received albums, an official, wider collective was founded that also included O.C., Big L, Buckwild, and producer-rapper combo, Show and A.G. (originally known as Showbiz and A.G.). The crew proceeded to drop a run of sublime records, including Show and A.G.’s Soul Clap EP (1992), their full-length debut Runaway Slave (1992), followed by Goodfellas in 1995. Show and A.G.’s next project, Full Scale, arrived in 1998 and featured appearances from O.C., KRS-One, Big Pun, the Ghetto Dwellas and verses from members of D.I.T.C. including Diamond D, Big L and Lord Finesse. In 2002 a CD version titled Full Scale LP (using the same artwork) was released with 10 additional tracks which had originally been released on various 12" singles and projects in the late 1990s. The project had never been released on vinyl in its entirety – until now. Production on Full Scale was handled by Showbiz and A.G. except for Time To Get This Money which was produced by long-time collaborator Ahmed, and Hold Mines and Hidden Crates which were produced by DJ Greyboy. The assortment of guest features doesn’t detract from A.G., a masterful emcee with a no-nonsense style that is simple but impactful. Full Scale follows the tried and true blueprint from Show and AG’s earlier classics cementing its place in hip hop history.

Detroit Revolution(s) [Black Friday 19]
Limited Black Friday release available in store from Friday 29th November. Any remaining stock will be available online from Saturday 30th November at 7:00am. Strictly 1 per customer.
After their debut mixtape Clear Soul Radio, follow-up EP The Departure, an A3C Festival appearance, two SXSX showcases, induction to Red Bull Academy’s Soundstage program, and performances with Tanya Morgan, Just Blaze, Alchemist, Talib Kweli, and Freeway, the release of 2012’s Detroit Revolutions LP put the Detroit collective Clear Soul Forces on the radar of hip hop fans worldwide - led by the viral hit Get No Better. Since then, CSF has toured the globe, released three (Gold PP7s, Fab Five, Still) albums with Fat Beats Records, and have no plans of slowing down with a new album slated for 2020. Until then, Revo is making an official return to wax as the missing piece in many CSF vinyl collections. The first official US vinyl pressing of Detroit Revolutions is available for a limited time for Record Store Day Black Friday 2019.

JONATHAN FIRE*EATER
WOLF SONGS FOR LAMBS [Black Friday 19]
Limited Black Friday release available in store from Friday 29th November. Any remaining stock will be available online from Saturday 30th November at 7:00am. Strictly 1 per customer.
At the height of Fire*eater mania, as the first big-ticket signing to the Dreamworks super-label, featured in spreads across all the hippest and au courant magazines at the time, amidst rumors of band members rejecting lucrative offers to be Calvin Klein models, the fact that they were able to deliver an album as solid as Wolf Songs For Lambs is still something to marvel at. Some of the band’s best work exists in songs like the wrist-breakingly beautiful drum work of “When the Curtain Calls for You” or the slappy, percussive reverb of “No Love Like That” or the twisted carnival organ figures carved in “These Little Monkeys.” The album explores emotive depths in the haunting corners of “Everybody Plays the Mime” or the plaintive simplicity of “A Night In the Nursery” through the charming, doo wop-styled backing vocal “ooh oohs” of “Inpatient Talent Show”…all of which seem to presage the slightly different downtempo direction band members Paul Maroon, Walter Martin and Matt Barrick would employ upon their formation of the Walkmen years later.
As is far too common in the realm of “popular” music, the public was in a full-on Britney and Bizkit frenzy and Jonathan Fire*Eater was unable to connect with the masses before their implosion in 1998. But Wolf Songs For Lambs, along with their previous albums, has long stood as a totem amongst the die-hard supporters of the group, spreading the word like gospel and converting heathens into believers for over twenty years.
This version released by Third Man Records was cut directly from the original 1/4” analog master tapes, is the first vinyl issue of the album since 1997 and is the first-ever vinyl release of the album in North America.
