Prince Daddy & the Hyena Cosmic Thrill Seekers Cosmic Thrill Seekers, the new record from Albany punk rock band Prince Daddy & the Hyena, is many things. It is an odyssey of epic, The Monitor-esque proportions, a great, galloping sonic roadtrip across space and time and Albany, boomeranging around a horn of punk, pop, indie, garage rock, and orchestral, Queen-style arrangements and theatrics; it is an exploration of the fall-out after an acid trip, manic self-destruction, bottoming-out and recovering, and then slipping again; it is a candid, acute documentation of frontperson Kory Gregory’s cyclical mental health states as told through three acts and 14 songs/chapters; it is an existential presentation of eternal return theory, a victory via surrender to impermanence; and perhaps most of all, it is about Dorothy Gale and The Wizard Of Oz. If you’ve never heard the band before then that sounds quite the introduction right? But believe us, Prince Daddy & the Hyena are the real deal. Having honed their craft in countless sweaty basements with their relentlessly fun, frantic and inclusive live shows, this creative and ambitious band are here with a joyous, cathartic record that’s sure to appeal to punk rock fans everywhere. Broadside King Of Nothing / Empty A 7" single from Kingston visitors Broadside, following on from 2018's Paradise with two more energetic pop-punk fuelled tracks. Fans of State Champs, Seaway, Like Pacific and As It Is should check this out. “We chose this life as touring musicians but it can be painfully lonely. We all want to be heard and play to massive crowds while making enough money that our parents won’t worry about our futures. I’m so proud of our accomplishments as a band but some nights, after the show ends and those crowds leave the venue, when you’re in the back seat of a dark van, you feel like you’re not doing enough and those dreams you have become nightmares of what you’ll never achieve. You can be on top of the world and have nothing.” Victory Records 7"

Waterparks FANDOM The third full length album from the infectious and genre-fusing WATERPARKS. “Hopeless said, ‘Hey, can we come and hear stuff?’ And I was so apprehensive, because it’s a weird thing for someone to come in and hear something that’s unfinished,” Awsten said. “I didn’t want anyone to say it wasn’t ready, because it’s like, ‘No shit!’ But people from Hopeless came in and were listening and going, ‘Holy fuck!’ I explained what I wanted to do and how I wanted this album to be: I want every song to be the best fucking song, and I want them to be able to all live in different worlds. Like if we’re referring to playlists or anything like that, I want every one of these songs to be able to just live on its own in a completely different fan base, you know what I mean? That’s the idea behind this. There’s one song that could have been considered a little bit pop-punk, and I was like, ‘Fuck this!’ So we just changed it up. We get on all the playlists that are like, ‘Pop-Punk Forever!’ and I’m just like, ‘Meh, I guess…’ I just want every song to be able to live comfortably with completely different sets of people. That’s a cool, conscious thing that I’m really excited about.” Hopeless Records CD | LP Signed

Grayscale Nella Vita The second full length album from Philadelphia's cathartic pop-punkers, Grayscale. Fans of PVRIS, State Champs and Set It Off should check this out. Whether it be backseat post-coital promises between young lovers, the aftershocks of a parent’s addiction on a child, or a proclamation to celebrate life before death, these moments echo with the sincerity of a chat among best friends in the music of Grayscale. The Philadelphia quintet—Collin Walsh [vocals], Dallas Molster [guitar, vocals], Andrew Kyne [guitar], Nick Ventimiglia [bass], and Nick Veno [drums]—align nostalgic confessions, nineties alternative homage, and 21st century playlist-busting ambition on their second full-length, Nella Vita [Fearless Records], which translates to “In Life” from Italian. These twelve tracks urge pensive pondering, rock catharsis, and danceable elation all at once. Fearless Records CD | LP Signed
VUKOVI Fall Better Indies exclusive LP is on purple coloured vinyl. The second full length album from the acclaimed rockers VUKOVI. Riotous and energetic rock jams, if you're into the likes of Don Broco, Set It Off, PVRIS or Bring Me The Horizon then you should check this out. “This album is our therapy and we hope it’s gonna help a lot of people as well. I wanted to do a concept album, but actually pulling one off is another thing, so we sort of met in the middle for this album using the intro and interlude to stamp out a solid futuristic theme. Album three might be the one to take the leap and actually do a full concept.” VKVI CD | LP Pre-Order
Motion City Soundtrack My Dinosaur Life LP on 180g 'flaming (yellow/orange/mixed)' coloured vinyl. Motion City Soundtrack’s fourth studio album My Dinosaur Life was well received by music critics. The pop punk record combines the best of their energetic and humoristic music, and also contains some of their darker and more serious songs. Fast guitars, loud drums and memorable hooks marks this album. “Worker Bee” brings their power chords, while “Her Words Destroyed My Planet” may be their ultimate track, filled with sad lyrics and a memorable chorus. After more than 10 years they’ve found the ultimate mix between their serious and more humoristic side.
