The JB Conspiracy This Machine [LP] Transparent blue vinyl, limited to 300. Marking the tenth anniversary of its release, and a European tour, This Machine is available for the first time on LP and has been re-mastered for vinyl. Since it came out in in 2007, the album has become somewhat legendary in ska punk circles. The Lagan Let's Do It Again Excellent local beer-soaked Celtic folk-punk band The Lagan return with a 5 track EP, following up their Banquet-released album. You know us, we're not really a studio band. We just like to get out and play. A proper lyrical genius, his solo songs are as insightful as they are funny. We think if you like the intelligent songwriting of The Weakerthans, the get-up-and-do-it feel of Frank Turner and the seeing-the-world-differently observations of Lightyear, you will absolutely love this. Like anyone who is creative knows; I’m not that in control of this. It just comes out. It has to come out. I can sit here all day staring at a page. And then write one line. Or I can manically scribble away and write something within ten minutes and think it’s the best song I have ever done.
