Scholars / In Gratitude / D.A.N.C.E. Saturday 25th September at Room 3 at D.A.N.C.E. Two awesome new bands come to Room 3 of D.A.N.C.E! The Scholars and In Gratitude tour rolls into Kingston on a Saturday night so come check out two awesomely catchy bands upstairs at D.A.N.C.E. The Upstairs room will open for 11pm so if you are going to the This Is Not Revolution Rock show at The Fighting Cocks come down to this afterwards and you won't miss any bands! That's Eight bands in one night, only in Kingston would this happen! There are no advance tickets for this but the usual D.A.N.C.E. prices apply. First 100 people into the club get in free. Then 4 before 11pm and 6 after. Drinks promotions etc. 10pm - 2:30am. The Hippodrome is over 18's only, please bring valid Photo ID with you.

New Noise Wednesday 16th October at Bacchus What a week! The Story So Far killed it at McCluskys, Tonight Alive lit up the Peel, and everyone's guilty pleasure Wheatus were great fun at Old Slang! This week New Noise returns to bring the party to Bacchus! From big hitters like New Found Glory, Brand New, Paramore and Refused to The Wonder Years, Scholars, Gnarwolves, and The Front Bottoms (plus loads more), we'll be playing all y(our) punk/emo favourites! D.A.N.C.E. Saturday 25th September at The Hippodrome Last D.A.N.C.E. of September and it's 3 varied rooms of Saturday night party in Kingston town! The main room will be playing the usual mix of huge Saturday night anthems featuring everything from Magnetic Man to Ke$ha, Jason Derulo to Katy Perry. The bar room hosts Repeater Sessions with Tronik and Big Sam bringing you the finest dubstep and drum n bass. Upstairs hosts some wuality UK Alt-rock with live music from Scholars and In Gratitude! Having just released their debut album Statues, we welcome Brighton's Black Peaks for an intimate acoustic set in the shop! They're one of the most diverse and unique UK alt.rock bands we've heard in a while, effortlessly combining heavy riffs, gutsy hardcore vocals, prog and math rock complimented with excellent melodies and almost post-rock tendencies! There's something in the band for fans of Cave In, Nothing But Thieves, Arcane Roots, Max Raptor, Scholars, Reuben... 6pm start. In-store Grade C. Sharks Wednesday 24th October at The Fighting Cocks Tickets available on the door. Two of our favourite UK bands come back to Kingston just ahead of their tour with Pure Love! Sharks are currently at the forefront of brit-punk, building a transatlantic bridge between Clash-style punk and Gaslight Anthem-esque melodies. Their debut album No Gods is a shop favourite. We last had them at our very first festival Banquet's Big Day Out!
