A solid album full of energy while retaining a very relaxing feel at the same time. Swirling synths, intricate beats, undeniably catchy hooks and elegant vocals throughout.I See You marks a new era for the London trio of Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, both sonically and in terms of process. For while xx and Coexist were both made in relative isolation in London, I See You was recorded between March 2014 and August 2016 in New York, Marfa TX, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London, and is characterised by a more outward-looking, open and expansive approach. Produced by Jamie Smith and Rodaidh McDonald, I See You is The xx at their boldest yet, performing with more clarity and ambition than ever before.

Sampha
Process
2017 Mercury Music Prize winner, Sampha's debut album. Mesmerizing, heartfelt modern soul sounds. Since the release of his debut ‘Sundanza’ EP in 2010 and 2013’s ‘Dual’ EP, Sampha has quietly but assuredly become one of the UK’s most enigmatic and respected artists. Still just twenty seven years old, he has lent his vocal, production and songwriting talents to a range of stand out releases, from UK contemporaries such as FKA twigs, Jessie Ware and SBTRKT to world-renowned superstars like Drake, Kanye West and, most recently this year, on Frank Ocean’s Endless and Solange’s A Seat At The Table albums. Now it’s time for Sampha to tell his own story and Process, produced by Sampha himself and Rodaidh McDonald, is set to be his defining musical statement.

FKA twigs
M3LL155X
5 track EP from the ever-experimental and groundbreaking FKA Twigs. The Ep features five tracks, four of which“Figure 8”, “I’m Your Doll”, “In Time”, “Glass & Patron”have been accompanied by videos directed by FKA Twigs herself. The four film pieces come together to form a single continuous FKA twigs-directed work, cementing who she is as an artist with an aggressive statement conceptualising the process of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity and liberation. M3LL155X is a continuation of the holistic creative process FKA twigs has undertaken on each of her previous EP releases (‘EP1’ and ‘EP2’), with videos forming an integral part of the release. However, M3LL155X is more ambitious than ever and, in terms of concept, scope and execution, is undoubtedly FKA twigs’ most complete work to date.

Koreless
Agor
Lewis Roberts aka Koreless announces his much-anticipated debut album ‘Agor’
An album over five years in the making, ‘Agor’ is announced with the single ‘Joy Squad’, a track that has a life of its own already. Played by Caribou, Jamie xx and TNGHT in their BBC Radio1 Essential Mixes, with further support from Oli XL and HAAi, ‘Joy Squad’ now finally sees its proper release. The video was directed by Mau Morgo and Koreless, features dancer Alex Thirkle and was choreographed by Sharon Eyal.
There is an idea of hidden depths suggested by the title of Koreless’ debut album. ‘Agor’ is the Welsh word for open and it’s an apt name for a recording which exists at sensory thresholds, helping guide the listener from one realm to another less visited. It straddles various worlds of trance, ambient, contemporary classical, sound design, vaporwave and garage, while not sounding like an example of any of them.
