Middle Distance Blueshift Release date of LPs TBC but we expect mid-July. The new full length album from the No Sleep Records signed band Middle Distance. “Sonically Blueshift is a departure to our older punk roots. We looked back to the music we were into in our early teens for this record. The sound is now closer to the UK indie that got us wanting to start a band in the first place. We felt it was important not to just copy this style but really bring it forward, develop it and make it our own. We all listen to dance and electronic music, probably more than we do anything else. To make this record sound as authentic as it could possibly be we needed to let the entire spectrum of our taste inform the songs. Over two years this lead to a lot of experimentation. The end product is something we are extremely proud of and we can’t wait to share it with the world”. No Sleep Records LP Pre-Order

Pine Pillow Talk The new EP from Ottawa post-punks Pine, 5 tracks of emo blended with shoegaze that's full of cathartic and nostalgic vibes. The band don't steer too far into shoegaze though, the noisey guitars never drown out Darlene Deschamps' sorrowful and prominent vocals that give the band a slightly poppy, familiar and recognisable element. Like putting on your favourite emo record from high school as an adult and relishing in the complicated teenage emotions you'll never be able to feel again. Spill Top Ten The new album from Pennsylvanian pop-punks Spill. "We started this band, practically the same exact members as our last band that toured all over the US and Canada. It feels good to evolve as writers and come at this music thing with more than just hopes and prayers. We took our time and wrote a record that we all believe in, and it’s nice to have a team behind us, for the first time, that also believes in ‘Top Ten’. This is the best thing we could come up with. It’s my top ten songs I could write.” For fans of: Joyce Manor, Tigers Jaw, Modern Baseball No Sleep Records CD | LP
