Skindred
Roots Rock Riot
Indies exclusive LP is on 'transparent orange' coloured vinyl.
A long-awaited vinyl release of the excellent 2007 Skindred album from Hassle Records, paired with a bonus 7" that includes 2 previously unreleased tracks.
Hassle Hindsight if a new sub label of Hassle Records, the UK indie that celebrates its 15th year in existence this year. Created to facilitate the occasional one off re-issues of releases and records from the past that the people at the label have loved and still love. Having already reissued Reef's debut 'Replenish', along with Kerbdog's self titled and the critically acclaimed 'On The Turn', this time it's Skindred's turn, with their much loved 2007 album 'Roots Rock Riot'.
This re-issue via Hassle Hindsight marks the album's first ever release on vinyl, and as an additional bonus, all copies of the initial vinyl pressing come with a 7" featuring two exclusive tracks. First of all there is finally the addition of the track 'It's a Crime', only ever available on the original Japanese version of the album, and the previously unheard track 'Struggle', taken from the original album recording sessions but never released until now.
Also released as part of this re-issue campaign is a brand new CD format, including both tracks featured on the 7" included with the vinyl, plus also a further additional track, an acoustic version of the Roots Rock Riot album track 'Destroy The Dancefloor'.

Brutus
Live in Ghent
Limited LP is on 'orange' coloured vinyl.
The new live album from the incredible Belgian 3-piece BRUTUS, recorded at a sold-out, hometown show in Ghent. Their live shows are acclaimed and formidable as they blast through their sets of pummeling, post-rock influenced alternative-rock with spellbinding vocals from singer / drummer Stefanie Mannaerts.
"Those of you who have seen Brutus play live, know we live by the energy we create among the three of us. When playing live, we try to make you feel what we feel and recreate all of the emotions we went through during the writing process. Every show we try to take our songs further, explore them deeper, play them better."
"When the real world went into lockdown, early March 2020, a year of live music disappeared before our eyes. Going on tour, playing festivals, watching bands, it’s all gone. It was as hard for us as it has been for everybody involved in live music. As a remedy, we took the time to look back on what we had already done and collected the footage we had of our previous shows. Painful and healing at the same time. That’s when we stumbled upon the recordings of our show at Handelsbeurs in Ghent, May 2019. A hometown show we fully recorded and filmed after a period of touring, in front of all our family and friends."
"We know it’s just a recording and not even close to the real feeling we had on stage or the energy we got back from the crowd in the room, but looking back, almost a year later, we feel absolutely proud about that show."

Say Anything
In Defense Of The Genre
The follow up to one of our biggest albums of 2004. We were on this from the first time they released "..Is a real boy" so if we got you into Say Anything make sure you get it from us! One of our regular customers was good enough to buy this record from us, and let us know what he thought about it... "...The album's just full of surprises. It feels like it has a long shelf life in it which I really like. I miss the days when you'd buy an album and just listen to it non-stop for months. Recently i've just been dipping in and out of bands because, yeah you can write a good pop song but theres nothing more to it, or yeah you can write personal songs but they're just bland, or wow that's heavy, but why? If you get me? Where I live at the moment it's all about how "bR0otul" or "metul" you are, and I just wish these "my morals came free with a Comeback Kid t-shirt" kids would just admit they're liars, didn't grow up on Bad Brains and Black Flag, but spent their summers skateboarding badly and listening to Blink 182 and New Found Glory. Haha! Anyways, rant over. And that's what I love about Say Anything; they come so close to cringeworthy and pump out some unabashed pop songs, but they don't feel guilty about it, and that to me is more 'punk' than anything Gallows have achieved by calling everyone c*nts and getting angry. I'd like to say i do like Gallows, but they're not reinventing the wheel. Say Anything aren't either, but they're kind of shaping it into some kind of new wheel which is better than the last one." We definitely agree, there just isn't another band quite like Say Anything! CD1: 1. Skinny, Mean Man 2. No Soul 3. That Is Why 4. Surgically Removing The Tracking Device 5. This Is Fucking Ecstasy 6.
