Motown 7" Box Set - Volume 2 Various Artists / Motown 7" Box Set Excellent boxset with 7 x 7"s featuring unreleased Motown songs by legendary artists! many of the tracks included here were never released at their time of recording, for a variety of reasons. Some got pushed to one side as albums usually only contained 12 songs and a few more were usually cut at the session - sometimes other Motown artists were given the songs and other versions were released, or it was simply a matter of the tracks being "rejected" at the weekly A+R meeting held with Berry Gordy and his team of songwriters and producers. What that means is we have a source of brilliant recordings to release on highly desirable 7s. • 7 x 7” vinyl boxset • Lift off lid box • 7 vinyl’s in specially created paper housebags • Download voucher • Insert (vinyl bag sized four page card leaflet containing info about the set) • Limited edition and numbered UMC 7"

Aretha Franklin Amazing Grace: The Complete Recordings Amazing Grace – Aretha Franklin’s biggest-selling album and the best-selling live gospel album of all time – is enjoying a revival nearly 50 years after it was recorded. It follows the debut late last year of the long-awaited documentary about the making of that legendary double live album, which opened to rave reviews. Amazing Grace: The Complete Recordings is released on vinyl for the first time ever. Available on March 22, just three days before Franklin’s birthday, the set includes four, 180-gram LPs that contain both of Aretha’s transcendent performances at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church, which were recorded in Los Angeles on January 13 and 14, 1972. Among the many signature moments that make up Franklin’s remarkable career, these performances clearly stand out as some of her finest work. They were recorded over two nights as the singer performed church standards like “Precious Memories,” “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” and “How I Got Over,” the latter written by gospel legend Clara Ward, who was listening in the audience. Released on June 1, 1972, Amazing Grace would go on to sell more than two million copies in the in U.S. alone. It was not only the best-selling album of Franklin’s career, but it still also holds the record as the best-selling live gospel album of all time. In addition, the album also earnedFranklin a Grammy award, her first for Best Soul Gospel Performance. Rhino LP

We have a handful of album promo posters to give away while stocks last, you just pay for p&p. The highly anticipated debut album from Leon Vynehall with Ninja Tune Records. Nothing Is Still is, at its core, an album dedicated to Vynehall’s grandparents. Emigrating from a leafy south east U.K. to New York City in the 1960s, their seven-day journey via boat from Southampton to Brooklyn, and the stories that followed, have only truly come to light upon the passing of his grandfather four years ago. “I knew they had lived in the U.S. and heard many anecdotes, but it was only after Pops died and my Nan presented these polaroids of their time there; of her waitressing at the New York Mayor’s Ball in ’66, or Pops with horses on a ranch in Arizona, that she delved deeper into their story, and I started to become overtly inquisitive about it” Vynehall says, following in depth conversations with his Nan to find out as much as he could about this part of his family history that was - in a way that easily resonates with us all - seemingly hidden in plain sight. “I felt the need to document this period for her, and it all just sort of snowballed from there.” Ninja Tune CD | LP
