JR Ewing / The Steal
At The Peel - 24th Jan
pay on the door One of the highlights of the recent ATP, JR Ewing are an exciting bunch of Norweigans. In a one-off Kingston show they are here to show off their brand of progressive hardcore often likened to another great European hardcore band Refused. They're pretty sick live, if you're into At The Drive In and the like, then you can't afford to miss this. Main support is from Kingston band The Steal. Get used to this lot - they're gonna be around. Awesome old skool positive hardcore telling a message without preaching it, and musically along the lines of Kid Dynamite, H20, Civ, Minor Threat. Also playing this bill are gore-core ex My Dad Joe chaps Gallows, and south coast post-hardcore sailors Last Kiss

Split 10"
Bizarrely we found a few more that were sitting in a Tottenham warehouse for ages. Get 'em quick! One per customer okay? Set Your Goals toured the UK in June 2006 with The Steal in tow. We thought this was an ideal opportunity for the third installment of the Gravity split 10" series. Limited to 500 copies worldwide on transparent green vinyl it features tracks from SYG's 'Reset' EP that previously haven't made it on to wax outside of the USA as well as exclusive tracks by The Steal including a brand new song & a Chopper cover. Set Your Goals / The Steal
End Of Tour show - 26th June
Set Your Goals are one of the most exciting new bands in the last couple of years. Mixing old school hardcore with pop-punk touches its like Kid Dynamite versus New Found Glory and is an amazing time live. Tour support is from The Steal. Fast, humerous, intelligent, melodic hardcore in the vein of Lifetime, Good Clean Fun and Bouncing Souls. If there's one hardcore show you go to all year, go to this. The end of tour party for these two bands who have a split 10" available for this tour. Also playing are The Mercury League and For Friendship Sake.
