For the album the band worked with Pharrell Williams. The albums lead single “Tick Tick Boom” has been used in the computer game Madden NFL 08 and many TV shows and films such as CSI: Miami, Friday Night Lights, Jumper, Taken and Friday the 13th. In 2023 the band released their first album in 11 years, going straight in at #2 in the UK album charts putting The Hives fully back on the map.
