Available only on LP, 'The Cribs - Live At The Cavern' is a special live recording of the band's one-off show at the legendary Liverpool venue 'The Cavern Club'. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, the band played a special live-streamed show with no fans in attendance, with the show instead being broadcast to fans around the world. Now a recording of this unique concert experience, which features all the band's hits, from 'Men's Needs' to 'Come On, Be A No-One', is being released for the first time on vinyl exclusively for RSD Black Friday. It'll be the only way for fans to hear this unique performance as the recordings will not be released on DSPs before the event. Recorded almost twenty years ago at the legendary Toe-Rag studios, and produced in part by US underground musician Bobby Conn, 'The Cribs’ took the band from DIY heroes to wider public acclaim, thanks to the album's "supreme pop melodies" (NME) and cult hits such as 'Another Number’ and 'You Were Always The One’. In a typically downplayed way, the band have honed in on what’s so special about The Cribs: really bloody good songs. Fans might well think this is their best album in a decade. So, once again all is right in Cribs world – or as much as all is right in any world in 2020 at least. Payola is like a dream come true for any Cribs fan like us.
