To celebrate the release of their new album titled 'World Wide Pop', Superorganism return to Kingston to play at Pryzm.
When the first Superorganism music surfaced in 2017, the group’s in-your-face aesthetic — a post- everything mishmash of psychedelic indie pop and fizzy, funky electronica — quickly began to resonate with the likes of Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Jehnny Beth, Gorillaz as well as finding them legions of fans across the world.
Today, Superorganism announce their eagerly awaited return with news of their second album; entitled World Wide Pop and due for release on July 15th, it is their first new music since 2018’s self-titled debut.
Superorganism have mutated and are now based around the core of Orono, Harry, Tucan, B and Soul but World Wide Pop also brings in an international set of collaborators including Stephen Malkmus, CHAI, Pi Ja Ma, Dylan Cartlidge as well as legendary musician and actor Gen Hoshino.

Thursday 1st March
at New Slang, 9:00pm
The night before their debut album is released Superorganism play at New Slang.
The sprawling musical group create seriously unique and intoxicating technicolour pop. It's groovy and sassy with warm vocals and a mish-mash of samples. They're hard to pigeon-hole, but if you're into the likes of Django Django, Gorillaz, Jungle or Architecture In Helsinki, then this is worth checking out. It's gonna be fun!
“They will fuck with your brain, turn it inside out, make you question what you knew to be possible from the art of using instruments to make music” - Noisey
"While the music is an utter triumphant, last night’s show hammered home that Superorganism’s appeal stretches far beyond the music. A bespoke visual show - featuring arcade noises, deep-sea psychedelia and stunning stargazing scenes - is primed to be a must-see come festivals next summer.” - NME
Doors are now 9:30pm with Superorganism on stage at 10:00pm.
Album + Ticket combos are available from £11 or more ticket options are available here.
