Starcrawler I LOVE L.A. Starcrawler present ‘I Love LA’, the second song taken from their forthcoming Ryan Adams-produced debut album. Starcrawler hail from Los Angeles and were formed a year ago when lead vocalist Arrow de Wilde first met guitarist Henri Cash at their Echo Park high school. Shortly thereafter, the streets of Hollywood brought them the rhythm section of Austin Smith (drums) and Tim Franco (bass). Starcrawler have already been cover stars of LA Weekly back home and are currently touring. “Arrow de Wilde is what would have happened if Ozzy Osbourne and Patti Smith had got together in 1975 and had a kid” - Classic Rock “Super refreshing to see this mix of 70’s theatricality and Stooges electricity” - Gerard Way “Starcrawler are the future of the rock n’ roll legacy of bands like Kiss, X, Sonic Youth & The Stooges. RAW x 1000” - Ryan Adams Rough Trade Records 7"
Starcrawler Ants The debut single from Starcrawler, blending indie-rock with fuzzy and noisey psyche-pop sensibilities. They play with squalling riffs and thundering beats, and their incendiary performances, fronted by de Wilde’s otherworldly magnetism, recalls nothing as much as a youthful amalgam of the Cramps, the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs, and Alice Cooper and the New York Dolls.
