Shura Nothing's Real Debut album from Anglo-Russian artist Shura. Upbeat electro-RnB-pop with 80's touches! Polydor CD | LP
Shura Touch now available to online customers. Limited edition pink 12" Following her support for Record Store Day in 2015 and ahead of her much awaited debut album ‘Nothing’s Real’, Shura unleashes this special release of ‘Touch’. A gossamer-light take on keening pop, ‘Touch’ arrived as if from nowhere: the first finished song that Shura had ever written and produced and one that landed humbly on the internet with a DIY video in which she convinced her friends to kiss on camera. Having surpassed 30 million plays and become one of the most enduring blog successes of recent years this new version of ‘Touch’ is complimented by stunning remixes from Canvas and Delorean. It comes on special baby pink-coloured 12” vinyl. Polydor 12" RSD 2016
Shura White Light Latest single from Anglo-Russian producer / singer Shura Epic but intimate, ‘White Light’ is a bold step out of the bedroom-based R&B balladry which has quickly earned Shura an impassioned audience, instead combining Arthur Rusell-inspired disco and a love for the undulating psych-rock of The War On Drugs to entrancing effect. Lyrically, the track started out about Shura’s twin brother, before picking up the sci-fi thread which runs through her visuals to describe an alien first glimpsed in the ‘Mass Effect’ game. Ultimately, though, ‘White Light’ is simply about being different, and joins the likes of ‘2Shy’ in embracing the social weirdness which actually makes you unique. Polydor 12"
