Celebrating the release of his new album titled Zeros, the amazing Declan McKenna returns to Kingston to play a set at Pryzm.
“In terms of my artistic development... it feels a major step on from my first record. With this album, if I’m performing as a character, I wanted it to give it everything - all the artists that I love like Dylan, Nick Cave or Bowie, are great storytellers because they give their characters really intense, sometimes strange voices.”
Times TBC but we expect doors at 8:00pm with Declan McKenna on stage at 9:00pm
CD/ticket is £14 post-paid, and other formats and combos will be available.
Pryzm is all ages for this show - under 14s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). Over 18s should bring PHOTO ID (driving license / passport).

Celebrating the release of their new album, You Me At Six return to Kingston for a socially distanced show at Pryzm. If you order the album from us you can get signed copies personalised to you. Just request what you'd like them to write in the comments box at the checkout.
After a tumultuous period of emotional blows, leaving the majority of the band getting to grips with new life scenarios, the new album is rooted in reflection and redemption. It sees You Me At Six harness those darker experiences as a catalyst for creativity, empowerment and positivity.
Recorded over five weeks at Karma Sound studio in Bang Saray, and continuing their creative relationship with that album's producer, Dan Austin (Biffy Clyro, Massive Attack, Pixies), 'SUCKAPUNCH' is the sound of a band embracing change.
You Me At Six have crafted their most experimental, personal and progressive record to date.

To celebrate the release of the new album album The Universal Want, it''s a first time in Kingston from Doves.
It's their first studio album in eleven years and it's going to be quite the opportunity to hear a career spanning set in an intimate venue.
Only the second track and first single proper to be revealed, Prisoners forces attention upon itself, not least with the poignancy of Goodwin’s repeated greeting to ‘old friends’, but as an unstoppable, driving tale of caution in a world of unending desire. Produced by Doves with Dan Austin and recorded at the band’s own Frank Bough Sound III studios in North West England, the high heat of its Northern Soul beat is fanned by wiry guitar breaks and cuts of ethereal noise contorting beneath layers of stacked vocals. A statuesque musical statement, Prisoners guides Doves’ second chapter to a peak now within touching distance, the lyrics contrasting to express unease with modern ills.
Times TBC but we expect doors at 7:00pm with Doves on stage at 8:00pm

Celebrating the release of their new album titled Night Network, the classic and inimitable trio The Cribs return to Kingston for a socially distanced show at Pryzm.
Night Network is as fresh, cathartic and vital as anything they’ve ever put out. There’s no weariness, no bitterness, just a clear desire to get back to doing what they do best – that unique blend of bittersweet melody, brutal lyrical honesty and riffs for days.
In a typically downplayed way, the band have honed in on what’s so special about The Cribs: really bloody good songs. Fans might well think this is their best album in a decade. So, once again all is right in Cribs world – or as much as all is right in any world in 2020 at least. The Cribs are romantics and they’re realists, and the balance, for a hot minute, nearly tipped in the favour of the latter. But now they return empowered, beholden to no one, on the greatest form and still screaming in suburbia.

To celebrate the release of their highly anticipated new full length album titled Energy, the acclaimed duo Disclosure return to New Slang.
“The thing that decided which songs made it and which songs didn’t was that one word: energy. Every track was written really quickly. That’s why we had to write so many songs because those ones don’t come up every day. Or every week. Or every month.” Through an epic process of creation and distillation the path to producing their shortest, most direct album - 11 songs, 39 minutes - ran through around 200 tracks: everything from drum loops to fully realised songs.
After the show, it's New Slang as usual where you can expect to hear the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Charlatans, Courteeners, The Shins and many more until 2AM.
Times TBC but we expect doors at 9:00pm with Disclosure on stage at 10:30pm

Due to phenomenal demand, we've added an extra show to take place earlier on, on the same day.
Following on from the release of their new album titled A Hero's Death, the awesome FONTAINES D.C. visit Kingston to play at Pryzm.
Barely a year after the release of their hugely acclaimed debut album 'Dogrel', which earned a Mercury Prize nomination and Album of the Year 2019 at both BBC 6Music and Rough Trade record store, Dublin’s Fontaines D.C. have returned with an intensely confident, patient, and complex follow up album. 'A Hero's Death' arrives battered and bruised, albeit beautiful - a heady and philosophical take on the modern world, and its great uncertainty.
Times TBC but we expect doors at 4:00pm with FONTAINES D.C. on stage at 5:00pm
CD/ticket is £15 post-paid, and other formats and combos will be available.
Pryzm is all ages for this show - under 14s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). Over 18s should bring PHOTO ID (driving license / passport).
