Your album will be posted to you. Whilst in town for a couple of sold out shows at The Fighting Cocks, we're excited to have two of our favourite bands play an all ages show in the shop! Both these bands are special to us, not least cos they've both had UK releases on our own Banquet Records label. Pop-punks Real Friends, who were last in the UK on tour with The Wonder Years, have two EPs out, Everyone That Dragged You Here and Put Yourself Back Together, and we're stoked for their debut album on Fearless Records later in the year. We fell in love with Modern Baseball's 90s emo inspired indie-punk debut Sports so gave it its own UK release and it became our album of the year 2013. They've just put out the brilliant follow up You're Gonna Miss it All. Can't wait for this, it will be rad! 6pm start with all ages welcome. In-store Grade B. at The Fighting Cocks Following the two recent sold out shows with Real Friends we're excited to welcome back Modern Baseball for an all ages AND an over 18s show in Kingston! We fell in love with the Phillly band when we heard their debut Sports, and gave it its own UK release! They effortlessly straddle the line between indie and punk with 90's emo influences and great story-telling lyrics. Fans of The Weakerthans, The Front Bottoms, Tigers Jaw, The Thermals.. etc must check these guys out! They're joined on this tour by Pennsylvania's Latterman / Iron Chic-esque melodic punks Spraynard who aslo make a welcome return to town and Kingston pop-punks Losing Sleep! at Bacchus Tickets available on the door. We welcome Steady Hands for a show at Bacchus. The band is the brainchild of Modern Baseball drummer Sean Huber and they play indie-folk punk. Fans of The Wonder Years, Dave Hause, Vinnie Caruana and The Menzingers should really check this out! On stage at 11pm. First on is our local solo acoustic pal Patrick Craig who you might have seen with Andrew Jackson Jihad, Beans On Toast or Lonely The Brave Grab a ticket for 3 or a bundle with Steady Hands' Brandy Of The Damned EP for 7! With Real Friends and Modern Baseball both being on our label, we've managed to book them for two shows in a row! Real Friends' emo / pop-punk is awesome. We put out two releases for them, and we can't wait for their first headline shows in the UK. Modern Baseball stole our hearts with their debut Sports, so much so that we had to give that a UK release too and consequently it became the Banquet Records album of the year 2013! They're both joined by the awesome 90's emo inspired post-hardcore 5-piece You Blew It! This is a super exciting triple bill and we're sure you're not gona want to miss out!
