Justice
Woman WorldWide
The new full length live album from Kingston visitors and electro-legends, Justice. They've taken their 2016 album Woman and recorded it live in the studio, this is the result, alongside some re-imaginings of their classics.
The new album was a result of Xavier and Gaspard adapting their new songs to be played on tour, in the process discovering a new dimension of their live form. After one year of testing, performing, refining and recording them on the road, they went back to the studio in Paris to give them the polish and precision that live performance doesn’t always allow.
Making a new album of re-envisioned songs inspired by their love of the live show is also in line with Justice’s release history thus far, which has seen them put out two studio albums each followed by a live recording. But, rather than repeat themselves, they have made Woman Worldwide sound like a proper studio album whereas A Cross The Universe and Access All Arenas purposely sounded like bootlegs. The new set also fittingly acts as a celebratory anthology of the duo’s trailblazing first decade together.

Justice
Audio, Video, Disco.
Expected 24th October The much anticipated second album from French duo Justice on CD & LP (+CD) Emerging from the creative cocoon that has enveloped them since wrapping up promotional efforts for their 2007 grammy- nominated debut †, Xavier de Rosnay & Gaspard Augé, the influential Parisian duo known as Justice, have announced the impending release of their second album Audio, Video, Disco. Straying even further from their dance music roots the new effort is at once looser and heavier than previous releases, using the combined musical vocabulary of rock and electronic to conjure a laidback, agricultural effort existing on the outer fringes of pop. Audio, Video, Disco was created in the duo’s home studio, with all instrumentation performed by the group themselves. Seeking to create an album that would evoke the feel of progressive rock, the duo labored meticulously to learn instruments they had not previously conquered to craft an epic masterpiece that exchanges the “night in the city” setting of their debut with an “afternoon in the country” atmosphere. Another notable development is the occasional presence of guest vocalists, including a spot by Morgan Phalen of NY rockers Diamond Nights on “On’n’On” and “New Lands”, Vincenzi Vendetta of Australian band Midnight Juggernauts on "Ohio", and UK pop singer Ali Love on the album’s first single “Civilization”. † established the group as an international force, selling 100,000 albums in the UK alone, and the duo have responded with a huge album that panders to no one, equally at home blaring from a dance club soundsystem or performed in an arena. Don’t be surprised when it finds its home in the latter. http://www.facebook.com/etjusticepourtous
