Warsaw
LP on 180g 'grey' coloured vinyl. Joy Division, originally named Warsaw, consisted of singer Ian Curtis, guitarist and keyboardist Bernard Sumner, bass player Peter Hook, and drummer Stephen Morris. Warsaw was the planned debut album by the English post-punk band. Recorded in May 1978, it comprised eleven tracks now known collectively as the RCA Sessions. The band was disappointed with the label's post-production work and the deal fell through, the album being scrapped. This Warsaw release presents the RCA Sessions (some of which would be released on their debut EP, An Ideal For Living); As You Said from the 1980 Komakino single; and the band's first recorded music, five Warsaw Demo tracks from 1977. An interesting historical and musical testimony to Joy Divison's early artistic qualities.

Transmission
Joy Division recorded only two albums before singer Ian Curtis passed away. But what the Manchester quartet lacked in longevity, they more than made up for in quality. The two albums were pioneering and helped shape the sound and mood of the alternative music that followed in the band's wake. On the same day as the Closer 40 th re-release, these three non-album singles 'Transmission', 'Atmosphere' and 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' will be reissued with 2020 remastered audio. Since the demise of Factory records, these singles have never been repressed or reissued before and are cut on 180g vinyl, featuring the original artwork on heavyweight board. 'Transmission' will feature an embossed sleeve.

Love Will Tear Us Apart
Yes, this is probably three times the price you'd normally expect to pay for a 12", but to be honest, it's three times the song of most 12"s too! The iconic Joy Division song onclear vinyl 12" in a printed PVC sleeve, with B-sides and alternative versions! This special edition features all three versions of the song that transformed Joy Division from mere band into legend. In addition to the original single version, we have two versions remixed by American producers Don Gehman of John Mellencamp fame (the 'radio version') and Arthur Baker (who also produced a hit single for Africa Bambaataa around this same time). The remaining tracks include "These Days" (which appeared on the original "Love Will Tear Us Apart" single), along with "Transmission" (their debut single released in 1979) and "Atmosphere" (originally released as a France-only single) in 1980.

Martin Hannett's Personal Mixes
Discovered by friends of Martin Hannett and with input from one of his relatives, these recordings give a rare insight into his production ideas for Joy Division and his relationship with the band.,the strange things/ sound effects they recorded in the studio together etc etc. The studio chit chat and interplay between Hannett, Gretton and Joy Division members is all here as Martin left his own tape machine running throughout studio sessions. On this album we have rare alternative mixes of Joy Division that were Martin's personal favourites and he had the forethought to get the band members to give him control of these recordings. A must for all Joy Division fans.

Unknown Pleasures
180gram heavyweight reissue of Joy Division's seminal, cult debut album! Unknown Pleasures, the debut studio album from Joy Division, was first released in 1979 on Factory Records.
