Jon Hopkins Singularity We've got a limited amount of A2 sized album artwork posters to give away with the album, you just need to pay a little extra on P&P. "The perfect mix of pulsing techno and bliss atmospheric electronica. The guy is a wizard at the controls once again and we were lucky enough to see it up very close at his intimate album release show back in May." - Jonnie New album for 2018 from talented electronic producer Jon Hopkins, the first album from him since 2013's breakthrough album Immunity. Singularity begins and ends on the same note: a universe beginning, expanding, and contracting towards the same infinitesimal point. Where Immunity – his hypnotic breakthrough LP – charted the dark alternative reality of an epic night out, Singularity explores the dissonance between dystopian urbanity and the green forest. It is a journey that returns to where it began – from the opening note of foreboding to the final sound of acceptance. CD | LP

Jon Hopkins / KELLY LEE OWENS Luminous Spaces / Luminous Beings Both Hopkins’ and Owens’ work perfectly complements each other here on “Luminous Spaces”; Hopkins’ transcendent, dancefloor-focussed electronics paired with Owens’ entrancing, often spiritual vocals and her ethereal techno production creates a euphoric electronic collaboration. The track, originally destined to be a remix of Hopkins’ “Luminous Beings” by Owens, morphed into a track in its own right following the pair working closely in the studio together on the track. Jon Hopkins Late Night Tales The latest installemnt of the Late Night Tales series comes from London producer Jon Hopkins... "Putting this album together was a unique opportunity for me to present music that I have been listening to for years, free from the constraints of a club setting or from trying to stick to one genre. I chose tracks not just because they have been important to me but because of how they sit together, putting as much thought into the transitions and overall narrative as I did into the track choices. I mixed by key and by texture more than anything else, using original sound design, pivot notes, and often recording new synth or piano parts to link things together in a way that flows as naturally as possible." - Jon Hopkins Late Night Tales CD | LP
Jon Hopkins / Lulu James / Moderat We Disappear / Abandon Window - Moderat Remix Jon Hopkin's We disappear reworked with vocals from Lulu James and a Moderat remix of Adandon Window The pair met when performing at Unknown Festival in Croatia and soon after put down vocals at Hopkins' London studio. He then built a new version of the track around James' contributions and the result is much more sparse and almost Lynchian - darkly atmospheric, pulsing and retaining the urgency of the original but adding new depth with James’ stunningly soulful vocal performance. Jon Hopkins Asleep Versions These ‘Asleep Versions’ by Jon Hopkins are dreamy reworkings of tracks from his mercury nominated Immunity album. Representing the quieter, more meditative side of the album, these new explorations take its hypnotic, transcendent qualities to a far deeper level. At times almost painfully beautiful, the EP contains a new, semi-acoustic re-interpretation of album track ‘Form By Firelight’, featuring additional vocals from the Braids and Blue Hawaii lead vocalist, Raphaelle Standell. Jon Hopkins / Pangaea / Pariah / Blawan / Objekt Collider 3 brand new remixes of Collider from Jon Hopkin's Mercury Prize nominated Immunity. Hessle Audio co-founder Pangaea is first up on remix duties with a crunchy, thumping example of main room techno. Karenn, a joint project between R&S staples Pariah and Blawan, also lay down a heavy and menacing techno cut on the flip. Objekt offers up the third and final reworking, an altogether more experimental, glitchy affair. Domino 12" Out of Stock
