Iggy Pop Zombie Birdhouse Indies exclusive LP is on orange coloured vinyl. Originally released on Animal Records in 1982 and produced by Chris Stein of Blondie, ‘Zombie Birdhouse’ is something of a lost classic from the legendary Iggy Pop. The CD edition is Expanded with the addition of a Bonus Track in the form of the original version of “Pain & Suffering”, which features Debbie Harry on backing vocals. The song was originally recorded for the ground- breaking animated feature film, “Rock & Rule” (Iggy provided the voice of the Monster From Another Dimension and Debbie Harry the voice for the character, Angel) but the OST was never released. Iggy Pop / James Williamson Kill City Please note: this is NOT the RSD edition. Kill City is Iggy Pop and James Williamson's often overlooked, yet ultimately essential album, originally recorded in 1975 and later released by Bomp! In '77. "I like what this album has to say," explains Iggy Pop. "It is rather high concept, and the music is well thought out. It adheres to no particular genre. A lot of people have borrowed it's ideas. It's one of the very first independent LPs I know of." "Kill City was by all measures a desperate effort, a singularly honest and heartfelt performance, a genuine progression of our song writing, and another in a long line of flops that were later resurrected and heralded as masterpieces," adds James Williamson. "By the time it was released as a record, both Iggy and I were off doing other things with our lives, but with this re-release we are not only reunited in our musical endeavors but in our appreciation of this album... it's importance to us as artists." Iggy Pop Total Chaos: The Story of The Stooges Expected 2nd December TOTAL CHAOS: The Story of the Stooges / As Told by Iggy Pop is the first time the story of this seminal band has been told entirely in Pop’s own words. Author Jeff Gold and contributor Johan Kugelberg, noted music historians and collectors, spent two days with Pop at his Miami home, sharing with him their extensive Stooges collection and interviewing the legendary singer. Pop’s candid, bare-all responses left them with the almost unbelievable tale of the band he founded - the alternately tragic and triumphant story of a group who rose from youth, fell prey to drugs, alcohol and music biz realities, collapsed and nearly 30 years later reformed, recording and touring to great acclaim. In 2010, The Stooges, credited with having invented punk rock, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Third Man Records Pre-Order
