The alchemical blend of Hybrid Minds production and emotive vocals has captured a whole new legion of fans throughout 2018. Now, with a gorgeous four-track clear vinyl release coming in December, compiling all of their releases from this year, they're set to win even more hearts and minds. As your spine shivers and your endorphins rush at the first gorgeously restrained notes from Charlotte Haining on “Paint By Numbers”, even without looking you'd guess you were in the presence of Hybrid Minds music. “Tapestry” is powerful. An expansive, slowly-evolving soundscape – the sound of a sunrise – melds into the almost woodwind tone of Emily Jones' voice and captivates us immediately. On the flip, we all know that magic happens when Hybrid Minds team up with Catching Cairo (formerly known as Tiffani Juno). ‘Touch’, taking us from intimate emotion to soaring glory in one vocal line proved that. And now ‘Supernova’ delivers a whole new set of feels. And to round things off, ‘Wasted’. As Grimm's first line tells us, he's been “going through some changes”, and Hybrid Minds' composition shifts and progresses with him. Coming, as it does, off the back of some huge Hybrid Minds remixes for the likes of Cyantific and Linguistics, as well as their team-up with InsideInfo, “Wasted” is loaded with anticipation. Due to premiere on UKF, undoubtedly the audience that the duo has been building with a series of huge festival and club shows over the last few months is set to blossom even further. And Hybrid Minds' momentum continues. They hit Australia and New Zealand in January, and then start the UK leg of their Outline tour with a massive all-night show at London's Village Underground in February. This four-track vinyl release is strictly limited edition and marks culmination of a cinematically epic year for Hybrid Minds.
