Any remaining stock will be available online from Saturday 20th April, strictly one per customer. Florida Georgia Line’s latest album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, offers collaborations with Jason Derulo, HARDY and Jason Aldean. Of some of the lead tracks from the band have said: ‘Talk You Out Of It’ is what we call the Baby making song on album 4, it’s probably the sexiest song we’ve ever put out. We really enjoyed recording it.‘Women’ (feat Jason Derulo) is an unbelievable song that we’re really honoured to feature Jason Derulo, one of our good buddies, the best, most talented artist that we know. It’s just a powerful song, we think it’s really going to touch a lot of lives and it really, a lot of our songs do this but this is probably the song that kinda puts women on a platform the most…and really it’s a good reminder for us that we wouldn’t be here without women, without our mums, without our wives. ‘Can’t Hide Red’ (feat. Jason Aldean) is every red neck’s anthem. Man, we’ve had so much fun recording that one. It kinda started as a joke song to be honest and then it turned into a rocker that we couldn’t deny and couldn’t not put on this album. Big Machine LP RSD 2019
Georgia Anne Muldrow Olesi : Fragments Of An Earth "...Georgia Anne Muldrow is one of Stones Throw Records newest signings, and is the only female vocalist signed to the label. Inspired by solid '70s soul, free jazz and a bottom-heavy hip-hop thump, Georgia paints a unique musical canvas that has the underground stopping to gaze and take it all in. Its just one 22-year old woman behind such a breadth of sonic expression she does her own vocals, background vocals AND the beats. Georgia springs from a family of creative musicians, whose roots run deep in the '60s and '70s progressive jazz scene: her father invented instruments for Eddie Harris, and her mother performed with Pharoah Sanders. Their innovation passed to their daughter, who approaches her labyrinth of keyboards, synthesizers and various instruments with a fresh perspective every time. She was noticed early on by fellow L.A. hip-hop trendsetters Sa Ra, as well as Detroits Platinum Pied Pipers both of whom tapped her for collaborations. From there, the buzz brought Georgias sound to the airwaves of Worldwide with Gilles Peterson on the BBC, and naturally, to Peanut Butter Wolf, who signed her to a two-album deal on Stones Throw Records. This EP is a perfect introduction to Georgias musical world. Previously only available in limited quanties, and sold primarily at her live shows, Stones Throw now offers Georgias calling card to the world..." 1. New Orleans 2. Melanin 3. Wrong Way 4. Feet 5. Georgia Anne Muldrow Overload The new album from Georgia Anne Muldrow, pushing her respected blend of modern soul with elements of jazz ad hip-hop with outstanding production. “Overload [the album] is an experiment in restraint,” she explains. I pack myself into something as clear as possible with the help of gifted artists from all over the world. The live show is an experiment in interpretation. That's when [my band] The Righteous and I unpack into a joyful noise. Both of these dynamics have been striving to balance themselves within me since birth… since wanting to record anything. And by the grace of Patience, Discipline and Devotion, a sweet spot has started to appear.” Brainfeeder CD | LP
