Drug Church Thursday 11th July at The Fighting Cocks Whilst in the UK, Drug Church make a welcome return to Kingston to play at The Fighting Cocks. Their acclaimed third full length album titled Cheer was released last year. Incredible and aggressive grunge-punk tunes with Patrick Kindlon's deep lyrics and distinct vocals. “Many fans of music want to feel as though they’re listening to someone who’s had similar experiences, That sometimes means mental health concerns and I always like to put it out there that, ‘Hey, that ain’t me. I’m doing pretty okay.’ But as I get older, I feel more social anxiety. These days there are situations where I feel ill at ease in my body.” Times TBC but we expect doors to be at 8:00PM. Drug Church Wednesday 29th April at New Noise Drug Church come to Kingston for a headline date at New Noise just after their dates with Gnarwolves and Smith Street. The band, featuring Patrick from Self Defense Family, play ace punk-rooted alt.rock. Fans of La Dispute, Self Defense Family and Fugazi need to check this out! That same night it's The Early November / You Blew It / AGBPOL down the road, and entry is free with your wrist band from that gig. Otherwise, it's Â3 in, and Drug Church plays at 11:00pm sharp. After they've played, we, you, and the bands, dance to punk/emo/rock from the likes of Moose Blood, Taking Back Sunday, Weezer, Modern Baseball and Refused until 2AM. Please note: Bacchus is an 18+ venue, so please bring photo ID or you won't be able to get in!
