Though chronologically the material spans Charles' entire career, this is no anthology, greatest hits or other shallow rehashing of the songs that already made him famous. Rather, this album is a profound exploration through the less-travelled corners of the soulful universe that Charles and his longtime producer, co-writer and friend Tommy 'TNT' Brenneck created in the studio together over their decade-long partnership.

Charles Bradley / Budos Band / The Bullets
Changes / Ain't It A Sin
Limited 7" from the new soul legend Charles Bradley! covering Black Sabbath's Changes In one corner we have Sir Charles Bradley backed by the Salacious Sorcerers of Soulful-Doom, and undisputed pride of Staten Island - Daptone's beloved heavy metal enthusiasts, The Budos Band. Armed with a soulful, merciless version of Black Sabbath's classic ballad 'Changes' - you'd have a better chance in the ring with a hungry Mike Tyson on speed. In the other corner we have Sir Bradley, this time backed by old school cohorts, the Staten Island mercenaries of Funk, Dirt Rifle and the Bullets (the band responsible for such early Bradley hits as, 'This Love in't big enough For the both Of Us', and 'Now That I'm Gone'). The Bullets come out swinging with ‘Ain't it a Shame.’ In what should be considered the other A-side, this heavy new original tune is filled with the raw energy harnessed on classic Bradley singles, which can only be described as TKO caliber Razzle Dazzle.
