Alexisonfire Familiar Drugs [7"] The phenomenal post-hardcore legends Alexisonfire are back and have brought a new ferocious single in the form of Familiar Drugs with them. We're super excited for this and we can't wait to hear more. Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001 like some monstrous and utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress. Hitting the ground with an immediate full head of steam, Dallas Green, George Pettit, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele and Jordan Hastings have not only impressed the critics with their sour/sweet approach to performance and writing, but are recognized for their stellar musicianship, and the palpably pent-up tightness of the band live. Alexisonfire Old Crows / Young Cardinals Expected mid-May Reissue of Alexisonfire's last albumI think our final full length was a little challenging for people. We were dedicated to not repeating ourselves and that was appealing to some, but there were many who were growing tired of the ever modifying Alexisonfire. None the less; in my opinion, it was the best record we ever made. We were actively trying to distance ourselves from a screamo scene that was completely stagnant. - George Pettit Dine Alone LP
Alexisonfire Crisis Expected TBC Double LP reissue of Alexisonfire third album! This was an album built for the stage. We knew the things that resonated with a crowd from playing the songs off of the first two records and we concocted a record full of crowd friendly choruses and straight up bangers. Conceptually, it was the most concise record to date. Debuting at number 1 on the Canadian charts, it was probably the height of our commercial success. It also came with an exhaustive 10 months of touring that nearly broke the band in half. - George Pettit Dine Alone LP Out of Stock
Alexisonfire Watch Out! Expected mid MayDouble LP reissue of Alexisonfire's second album which brings out their more melodic side, with more Dallas Green singing which became their signature sound!!In 2003 we were hugely influenced by current emotive indie and ambient rock music so we attempted to inject a little bit of that into our songs. Still writing very freely but time and travel had turned us into more methodical song writers. It's a very bizarre sounding record but you can hear the improvement in musicianship compared to the self titled. We were no longer virgins to the studio and in the very capable hands of producer Julius Butty. Something was starting to happen. - George Pettit. Dine Alone LP
Alexisonfire Alexisonfire Expected 13th October Double LP reissue of Alexisonfire's debut self-titled album! Early melodic screamo at its very best! The first full length album by Alexisonfire completely embodies the sound of late teens and early 20's. Full of dumb confidence and lacking in concentration. Hundreds of parts and riffs strung together in to a fun little hodge podge. We were living and writing freely. Sometimes too much freedom isn't always a good thing. - George Pettit Dine Alone LP Out of Stock
