Just announced

King Krule

The night before his new album is released, King Krule returns to Kingston to play at New Slang.

The long-awaited third full length album from the excellent sludge-popper is titled Man Alive! and follows on from his 2017 record The OOZ with another dose of his bleak, jazzy indie-psychedelia tunes.

“I feel better in life. I don’t drink or smoke when I’m in the North West, so I’m pretty clean. It's made me kind of bored of what a lot of the album’s talking about! It’s hard to know where it’s going now I’ve done it, and what I’ll do next, because of my new-found role and responsibility in the world. It'll be good to play live, I'm looking forward to that.

Ash

Following the release of their new Best Of album, Ash return to Kingston to play at Pryzm.

Teenage Wildlife is the new greatest hits record from the excellent Kingston visitors and iconic brit-rockers, all to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band. We're excited to share this celebration with them with an all ages set at Pryzm.

Teenage Wildlife traces the band's recording career from exuberant debut 'Jack Names The Planets' through to 'Buzzkill' and 'Annabel' from 2018's top twenty album 'Islands'.

Hollywood Undead

On the night before their sixth full length record titled New Empire, Vol. 1 is released, the genre chemists Hollywood Undead visit the shop for a signing session.

“This album is our attempt at reimagining Hollywood Undead, not just a new sound for this release, but a new sound for the band altogether. Our goal from the outset was to make music that stands alone from our other albums, yet seamlessly fits with what we’ve made before. Building upon the old to create a new sound and a New Empire,” explains Johnny 3 Tears (vocals, bass guitar).
