Due to outstanding demand, an extra show with London Grammar will take place on the 21st September.
Celebrating the release of their highly anticipated third full length album titled Californian Soil, the inimitable London Grammar return to Kingston to play at Pryzm. Their 2017 show at The Hippodrome was an extremely special moment, demonstrating their beautiful and cinematic instrumentation paired with Hannah Reid's haunting and ethereal vocals. Don't miss out.
Inspired by front woman Hannah Reid’s experience with misogyny within the music industry and how she found her power again, Hannah says, “Misogyny is primitive which is why it is so hard to change. But it is also fearful. It’s about rejecting the thing in yourself which is vulnerable or feminine. Yet everybody has that thing. This record is about gaining possession of my own life. You imagine success will be amazing. Then you see it from the inside and ask, why am I not controlling this thing? Why am I not allowed to be in control of it? And does that connect, in any way to being a woman? If so, how can I do that differently?”
Doors at 7:00pm with London Grammar on stage at 8:00pm.
Tickets and albums will be posted separately.
Pryzm is all ages for this show - under 14s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). Over 18s should bring PHOTO ID (driving license / passport).
