Saturday 7th July was Small Press Day: a celebration of self-publishing and DIY culture across the country.
"I made you a Mixtape" is a music inspired zine compiled by our very own Shibby, and it is filled with art, comics and written pieces by small press artists including her.
Inside, there are pieces inspired by Paramore, Mac de Marco and Deftones to name a few.
"Music is this wonderful thing that can convey so many emotions, and help people through all walks of life - bring people together, make you sing and dance, help you through a rough time.
Working in a music shop has shown me that people still love owning physical items from their favourite bands and artists, and a mixtape used to be an amazing way of sharing thoughts, feelings and emotions. I wanted to achieve the same thing with this zine."
