Wednesday 19th September at Banquet Records, 6:00pm

Just after the release of their new album, Fatherson play in the shop.

The hugely anticipated third full length album from the Scottish alt-rockers is titled Sum Of All Your Parts, following on from their stunning 2016 album Open Book. They play earnest and heartfelt alt-rock with huge vocals, poetic lyrics and crashing instrumentation. They were last in town supporting at The Hippodrome in 2016 and we're super excited to have them back for their own in-store set. If you're into the likes of Deaf Havana, Twin Atlantic, Mallory Knox or Frightened Rabbit then this will be well up your street.

Single Making Waves is indicative of what to expect from the next Fatherson LP. According to Ross Leighton (guitar/vocals), the song “defined how the album would sound” as well as being a “heart on your sleeve slacker tune with a tonne of groove.” The single does mark a change of direction for the band – the rousing and anthemic choruses remain but there is a newfound edge best summed up in the stunning video for Making Waves.

In-store Grade B.

Priority will be given to anyone who orders a copy of Sum Of All Your Parts from us.

Tickets and albums for collection at our shop on the evening of the in-store, please bring your order number with you.
