Sometimes noise for noise’s sake is the purest joy of all. Take the debut album by Dog Heaven, for instance; a collection of pop songs absolutely teeming with a love of wild guitar squall and hard-hitting rock’n’roll.

Consisting of long-term musical accomplices Jamie Morrison (vocals/guitar) and Reza Mirehsan (drums), along with guitarist Josh Ace and bassist Billy Morris, they’re a London-based band borne out of longstanding friendships and a mutual appreciation for hard-hitting riffology - crucially, they know how to make a deliriously thrilling racket together.
