Busted at New Slang - photo by Jez Pennington
Busted / New Slang
Thursday 7th February at New Slang, 9:00pm
Just after the release of their new album, Busted play a stripped back set at New Slang.
The band was last in town at New Slang for the release of Night Driver, they are now back to celebrate their fourth full length titled Half Way There. For the new album, they have taken a step towards the sounds of their roots, classic and infectious pop-punk influenced bangers with big, sing-along choruses.
James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis approached the project with a simple goal in mind: “How do we make the ultimate Busted album?” They spent a year working on it and the result is a rush of melody and effervescent riffs as they blend huge arena-filling choruses with a classic pop-punk sound.
After the show, it's New Slang as usual where you can expect to hear songs from the likes of Mystery Jets, The 1975, CHVRCHES The Vaccines, Wolf Alice, The Cribs, Circa Waves and many more until 2AM.
TIMES TBC but we expect doors to be at 9:00pm with the band on at 10:30pm.
New Slang is an over 18s event, and is strict on ID. Please bring photo ID with you on the night, whatever age you are.
Albums+Tickets are available from £15, other ticket options are available here.
New Slang is held at Pryzm, 154 Clarence St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1QP
