Adequate Seven make their third appearance of 2005 at The Peel. But we just cant get enough. Their brand of brass driven party funk punk rock is always a pleasure. Sure to create a party environment wherever they play, they have a new album on the horizon, which, from what we've heard, is gonna be awesome. They've just released a Radio 1 approved new single 'Splitting Up'.
Captain Everything play The Peel for the first time in sixteen months as main support. Incredible million miles an hour pop, they're live set marks them as probably the best pop-punk band the UK has to offer. Despite the fact that Rich - the drummer - has left the band they are in no way splitting up.
Howards Alias, one of the UK underground's most treasured assets play tonight in what is their farewell tour. Prog-ska-rock like a mix of RX Banditts and Mars Volta if at all possible, this will be their last ever show in Kingston as they are splitting up.
Local Surrey-punk stars Pickled Dick make the short trip down the A3 for this. Tight, fun, harmonic punk rock, they're always a pleasure.
So, another top show of UK punk. Three tours all colliding in Kingston, makes this an unmissable show.
