"Now this is more like it. Produced by Larry Hibbitt from Hundred Reasons, Instruction sound exactly like you'd expect a band who feature an ex-member of post-hardcore mavericks Quicksand to sound. Tough, angular, discordant and melodic in all the right places, 'Rise Up' is an uplifting slice of angsty rock that hits hard and fast. Recommended" - Kerrang 18/10/03
Its been a great year for Instruction. They've toured with the likes of Hell Is For Heroes, Biffy Clyro and Funeral For A Friend, rocked the Reading and Leeds festivals, and even played twice at Donington.
In this time they've been wowing audiences and the music-buying public alike with their unique brand of angst driven rock / post-hardcore. They now release a three track single to give a hint of whats to come with their full length debut due early next year for Geffen.
Rise Up is typical Instruction - powerfully delivered Foo Fighters meets Rival Schools rock mixed by Larry Hibbitt of Hundred Reasons. The b-sides are 'Feed The Culture', which sees front man Arty Shepherd pick up his acoustic guitar to present more of an emotional / fragile side to Instruction, whilst Your Punk Sucks (live) captures on cd the highlight of their live performances with their renowned anti-fake-punk anthem. As an enhanced cd, it also features videos for the previous release Great. A fine taste of all sides of this great band.
