Two Door Cinema

Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History

JT goes for the superb debut album from Two Door Cinema Club as his album of March. This album is full of electro indie pop hits and was a bit of a fave in the shop during March. It's not very often the majority of the shop all enjoys the same album but this is catchy as hell. This is about the only band Tolley hasn't booked for up and coming New Slangs this year....yet.

Bombing

DJ Twister - Bangers On The Breaks Vol 3

Mike goes for the third installment of Bangers On The Breaks from DJ Twister. Anyone that knows Mike will know he loves a banger and this has plenty mashing up the likes of Lucy Pearl, Stevie Wonder, Missy Elliot, Justice, James Brown and Diana Ross. This is one big party, much like Mike ya dun know.

Dave House

Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can

Not content with starting new band Pacer, this month Dave has also started a Battlestar Gallactica influenced punk project, I'm not joking. Awesome. Dave has gone for our instore star Laura Marling and her lovely new album 'I Speak Because I Can'. Check her playing at Banquet below.

FR

Frightened Rabbit - Winter Of Mixed Drinks

Gonja

Gonjasufi - A Sufi And A Killer

Aaron goes for the debut album from the very original Gonjasufi. Surprisingly it's not the Footcrab tune he has been banging on about but the curiously named album 'A Sufi And A Killer' gaining plaudits from all over the place fusing hip-hop and vintage psychedelia. Aaron loved it so much he decided to start a campaign about allotments

Modular

Modular - Leave Them All Behind 3

Milly goes for a top compilation from Modular Records mixing up some of the best recent dancey indie electro hits. This has been on heavy rotation in the shop where Milly has been dancing around to it with her new dark hair. True story.

Weezer

Four Year Strong - Enemy Of The World

Tom has had an eventful March but between Birthdays gone wrong (DRIP) and getting a growth cut off his eye he has found the time to enjoy the second album from Four Year Strong. Like listening to New Found Glory after 10 powerades this is super fun pop punk at it's best, perfect for when it actually gets warm...if that ever happens...

Ollie

Broken Bells - Broken Bells

Ollie has the mailorder flu this month along with most other people in the office but luckily he has shaken it off in time to go see his beloved Arsenal lose in Barcelona next week. His album of choice is the beautiful debut album from Broken Bells with Shins frontman James Mercer and Danger Mouse teaming up!
