A few Banquet exclusives came through in June, including the re-issue of Say Anything's 'Is A Real Boy' and the vinyl release of the brilliant Spycatcher album we put out on our own record label. Big new albums came by the way of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Gaggle, J Dilla and The Bouncing Souls, and some of the most fun vinyl releases came from Chuck Ragan with a sawblade / hammer / Florida(?) shaped 10" and Jack White with the first ever playable etching!

It seems a long time ago now, but the biggest thing we did in June, and possibly ever, was Banquet's Big Day Out - our first ever festival! Loads of our favourite bands and DJs playing accross 4 stages just outside of Kingston, and hopefully that was the first of many. Loads more crazy shows, including the sweatiness of Hundred Reasons playing The Fighting Cocks. the carnage of The Story So Far at The Peel, the craziness of the 21-piece female alt. choir Gaggle instore, the length of the 2:00hrs plus set from Into It Over It at The Cricketers and the sheer fun of Man Like Me's return to New Slang. Videos of all these shows can be found on our YouTube page
