Best Of Apr 2012 - News & Featured ReleasesView Our Best Of Apr 2012 Chart

April is by far and away the busiest month for us.  Most of this being down to Record Store Day.  A great celebration of records, record shops and independent music in general!  A video capturing the spirirt of the event is below, and there's still a good number of exclusive releases left for online customers.

Loads of non-RSD releases too.  Apologies, I Have None gave us one of THE UK punk releases of the year and The Futureheads gave us one of the best instores we've ever had in support of their 'Rant' album. Some great re-issue LPs from Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182 and Biffy Clyro and Jack White and Alabama Shakes have been mainstayers on the shop stereo!

April is always a busy time for gigs.  We had the band who gave us our album of 2011, The Wonder Years come to Kingston to play it in its entirity, some massive shows at The Hippodrome from Lostprophets and The Used.. New Slang highlights from Breton and Los Campesinos! and some sick Fighting Cocks shows from Pianos Become The Teeth and Sharks.
