Best Of July 2011 - News & Featured ReleasesView Our Best Of July 2011 Chart

After being bombarded in June, July was quiet in comparison, but there's still such a great selection of new releases out during the not so sunny month!.  An all time favourite of Dave, Jon and Jane's, Face To Face gave us a new full length, we finally got in the new Basement LP and carried an exclusive of the Spycatcher debut album.  From the dance world, Ram Records recognised its 100th release, and Zomby got a lot of love from the boys downstairs.

Some great shows through July.  New Slang welcomed Givers and Grouplove for the first time but the biggie there was from the ever-brilliant Mystery Jets.  This month will be remembered for some brilliant shows at The Peel.  Man Overboard, Deaf Havana, Polar Bear Club, Algernon Cadwallader and Lemuria were just some of the great bands we were lucky enough to see through the month.
