Very limited handful of these back in stock. Boddika will be playing in Kingston on Wed 3rd October alongside Mosca & Dusky at our Repeater night, get tickets from our shows page or in the shop...
Boddika and Joy Orbison get together again, this time, with the aim to release something in a slightly different direction “We didn’t want the music we’re writing to sound like what we’re known for as individuals and that’s been a bit of an effort, so over the last five months we’ve been in the studio just taking our time with things…the new stuff is a little housier, but by no means generic at all.”
This is their second collaborative effort for Sunklow. Dun Dun has shuffling percussion with a pulsating, almost industrial bassline and a house-inspired chord progression, making it one of the deepest riddims to come from the pair to date. The b-side, Prone is a little more minimal and is more fit to be rinsed out on the dance floor rather than to be played in the privacy of a home.
