With no real plans to release a solo record this album came together as a collection of songs written over the last 8 years with obvious influences: three relationships, living in two different places, drinking then not drinking and simply songs that didn't really fit Death Cab For Cutie. This is not Postal Service mark II, instead its just great Ben Gibbard pop-songs!
