Marking the release of his debut album Long Way Down, Tom Odell comes to New Slang for the first time to celebrate!

Please note - the album is expected 24 June, so your tickets and CDs will be posted separately. Postage prices reflect this.

The first male to ever be awarded the Brit Awards Critic's Choice, Tom Odell has been making quite an impression over the last couple of years with his Jeff Buckley-esque golden voice and thumping piano skills.

His live performances have been likened to early Bowie and even though his clean cut, blond, choir boy image might look angelic, on stage he most certainly is not! Come see for yourself!!

It's usual prices of Ł4/Ł5 after the bands, when we play all the indie songs we love to dance to, with everything from Bastille to The Strokes, Jake Bugg to Haim until 2am!

Our indie night, 'New Slang' is now 6 years old and we love doing it as much as when we first started. Basically, some of our favourite bands in the world come to play for us each week... and then we dance to indie hits till 2AM.

New Slang is held at McClusky's, 4 Bishops Hall, Riverside Walk, KT1 1QN, Kingston upon Thames

New Slang is now back at McClusky's every Thursday night. The vibe of McClusky's is great for watching live indie-rock bands... The PA we've bought week by week over the last 5 years or so is perfect for this room, and the different vibe of McClusky's will suit us just right. The club has had a significant do-over which even includes a whole new room (!!) we're happy to be back on board. There's sensibly priced drinks (draft beer and cider on tap) but mostly its still the same music policy, the same people running the night, and most importantly the same gang of music lovers which makes our crowd!

Remember if it's your birthday on a Thursday or Friday you and 3 friends can get in free!
