Resista are back with their second release and another helping of Daphni’s studio prowess… This time though, it’s not only the music of yore that gets the edit treatment in the hands of Daphni, but something a bit more current too!

On the a-side, we find the afro stylings of self-proclaimed ‘psychedelic primary school disco’ New Zealand outfit Orchestra Of Spheres and their standout original recording "Hypersphere". Daphni masterfully extends it, adds his arsenal of effects and generally boosts its inherent psych- and leftfield dancefloor appeal.

On the flipside, Daphni travels all the way to West Africa and unearths another gem of a track. "Baladins" is a joyous celebration of syncopated drums, masterful melodic guitar riffs and general feel-good summer vibes. Expertly restored for modern dancefloors, we’ve never heard a state-sponsored dance-music orchestra sound so good!
