Magic Wire present the second release on the label from co-founder Lone. Following up the huge debut release "Pineapple Crush" comes "Emerald Fantasy Tracks". The opening track "Cloud 909" sets the scene - a massive slab of piano stab-lead Detroit inspired techno, which picks up exactly where "Pineapple Crush" left off and is set to cause the same amount of damage. Again, when that neon-blushed synth solo drops, there's no room for anything but euphoria. Where-as the last release focused mainly on the rawness of early hardcore tunes, "Emerald..." possibly goes even further back in time. From the primitive 808 / Black Dog inspired house of "Moon Beam Harp" to the typical Lone styled sun bleached euphoria on "Risottowe_4" and "Petrcane Beach Track" - this is Lone's fascination in the roots of dance music taken to its extreme. Covering all areas, this is the most diverse Lone record to date. Infact, this is one of the best full album releases we've seen from this camp of new music all year. Already in our end of year chart, 2010 will be the year that Lone exploded into the nightclubs.
