After the genre-defining first release, which still gets plenty of spins from the likes of DJ Yoda and Krafty Kuts, Ghetto Funk are back with their second artist EP. This time its the turn of Canadian born Stickybuds. When Stickybuds is not busy touring the world (in a DJ capacity), he works away crafting and defining the Ghetto Funk sound. The EP opens with the Gwen McCrae-sampling "Been Real", taking her classic "All This Love That I'm Giving" into squelchy b-boy breaks territory. "Crowd Muder" mixes a killer 80s singjay reggae vocal with dirty electroid hip hop vibes. Upping the pace again is "Don't Deny It", a drum & bass refix of Fabolous' hip hop cut "Can't Deny It". Lastly we have the b-boy blues mash-up "Out Of Debt".
